Listing Admin
Listing Admin—previously named STFU T-Rex! Admin—is my fanlisting management script, managing not only my two » fanlisting » collectives, but managing the joined, wishlist, KIM list and quotes features as well.
After a huge amount of consideration, I decided to offer Listing Admin for download to users with the member status September 1st, 2009, and December 1st, 2009 to users with the reader status. Listing Admin will never be released to the general public, and you must register here at Pumpin'! in order to download the script.
The latest release is 2.1.8, released on January 30th, 2010, and was last updated January 30th, 2010.
Features
- Collective features, such as Listings, Joined and Affiliates. Also has KIM, Codes, Updates, Quotes and Wishlist features, all five optional.
- Listing features include: optional "fave" field, password (generated if chosen) and the members have an option to reset their password, update their information or delete themselves from the listing.
- Templates and e-mail templates are included; all are installed automatically and cannot be deleted, but can be edited.
- Multiple approving, deleting and updating of members available to the admin.
- Following templates for Listings: Statistics, Description, Quotes, Affiliates, Date Format and Wishlist (granted).
- KIM features like » KIM Admin.
- Joined listings have the following fields: subject, URI á la URL, image, category (or multiple categories) and "Made by You?" field—this is, theoretically, for buttons you have made, whether the joined listing is your own listing or not.
- Quotes have quote and author field, and the ability to rotate quotes randomly.
- Wishlist features include: the ability to pull listings for "granted" wishes; two different types of wishes, top and list (regular), along with a category, description and image field. Also allows the user to have a description in a separate query (e.g. wishlist.php?q=4 (4 being the ID of your top wish, for example's sake)).
- ...and more! All features will be listed in the readme.txt in .zip file, when it's released.
Possible/Future Features
- No future features at this time.

Tess, you should release the STFU T-Rex Admin script. It looks like a great alternative to enth or bellabuffs. It is something I would seriously like to use instead of enth! Think about it.

@Jef: Orginally, I thought about releasing STFU T-Rex! Admin, but quickly discarded it, as there are several other alternatives to a fanlisting script (e.g. vs.hive, phpFan, etc.); not only that, but it's a heavy script - more heavier than Enthusiast! - and I don't think I'd be 100% comfortable with other people using this script.
However, I will be sure to keep it mind - after all, anything can happen! :)

Okay, I'm poking around the script, trying out things and noticed two things. First is that in the display codes, at the beginning of each code it's listed as
Also, I can't for the life of me get the wishlist to show in the admin panel. It says "You currently have your wishlist set to off, leaving you unable to edit your wishlist. To use it, open the rats.inc.php file and (re-)enable it." I've looked up down and sideways at rats.inc.php and can't find a place to enable it. I've also tried turning it off and then on in the admin panel but it doesnt work.
Overall, it looks awesome and having pretty much everything in one control panel instead of having multiple tabs open is fantastic. I'm so busy trying out different things and setting up the templates, it's a pain, but well worth it. Thanks so much!

er it should have been: listed as php instead of ?php
hopefully that will work now. :)

@Donna: ...I totally found that bug (for the display codes) before and didn't even fix it! My fault, thanks for letting me know! Also, writing down the wishlist thing - I had the options in rats.inc.php before, and switched it to the options at the last minute. Again, thanks for letting me know, Donna! :D

Ah, no worries Tess, I knew when I downloaded it, it would be a challenge (I poke around php but barely understand it). And honestly, it's to be expected that somethings were for lack of a better word, forgotten in such a huge script. Because really, it's huge with all that it does. I just hope I'm not pestering you too much with these things.
I did find a few more things, and have a request.
With the image codes: When you add a code donated by someone, it links it, but not to anything, it's a blank a href tag. The alt and title tags work perfectly though. (personally I'd prefer it not to link, but that's just me)
Also, in the admin panel when view codes for individual listings, you can only view the number specified in options for pagination > per page. There's no navigation to get to the other pages. I simply set the number high to get around this.
As for the request, if it's possible I'm wondering if you can (at some point) add a feature in the KIM where you can manually add members, like in KIM Admin. This is pretty much so that I could add previous owners without having either them or me fill out the form.

@Donna: You're not pestering me, not at all! It is quite a big script, yes, so there's bound to be things I overlook, as you said. :P
For the codes: when they display? Or in the admin panel? If displayed, I can always have this just as an option (which can be turned off).
Codes pagination: to be fixed! (Again, that's another thing I saw myself, I guess I just forgot in my haste!)
Add member: will be added, no problem! :D

I've been a bit busy the past week or so and I've only now been able to update my files with the bug fixes but I'm experiencing two Parse errors.
When I click on lyrics in the admin panel: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/###/public_html/admin/lyrics.php on line 634
And when I click on quotes in the admin panel: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/###/public_html/admin/quotes.php on line 346
(I replaced my cpanel name with ### cause I'm paranoid about things like that ;) )
And also, with the Enth conversions. I'm having issues converting member lists with the favorite fields. The error says "Unable to inser the Donna member! Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
SELECT * FROM `rough`"
However when I convtered a member list with no fav field, it worked fine. I'm kinda scratching my head with this because I am 99.9% sure I filled out the form correctly.
I've tried looking at the sql file to simply convert the member list by hand, but maybe it's the lack of caffeine or sleep but I cant figure out where/what to plug in all as the values.

And a small thing: in the show-reset file, there's a bit about changing all passwords and it's linked to your collective. Simple fix and I already took it out of mine, but a heads up for others.

@Donna: Ah, those are all my fault, including the members list conversion (with favourite fields); apparently, I added the columns, but not to the table itself...yeah. :P
Thank you for that, Donna, I will be fixing those right up for tomorrow! :D

I believe I should've posted here instead of commenting in the post you made on Version 2.1.3. I don't know if you've already read my comment but anywho, just to be sure, I'm reposting it here. I installed the latest version and everything went smoothly until there were files missing that were required in the pro.inc.php file. These were
class-crosspost.inc.php
class-ixr.inc.php
fun-updates.inc.php
Also, there's no updates.php file included in the zip. :)

Wow Tess...this totally looks amazing! It definitely seems rather advanced, but I'm going to download it and try it. It may save me time downloading other scripts (like for KIM, Quotes, etc.)! I hope it all works out for me, because this seems so cool, and I won't have to worry about Enthusiast's errors or bugs because of it not being updated. ;] To do all this, you're quite the amazing coder! <3
